It will take a collaborative effort to attack the giants that continue to plague our communities. These giants are intertwined and ultimately contribute to the level of violence in the community. Together we can develop initiatives, partner with agencies and community groups, and provide assistance to individuals suffering from these social issues. We must develop programs that are assessable to those in need. The P.E.A.C.E. Movement is a massive effort to mobilize thousands to attack the community giants that affect the lives of hundreds in our neighborhoods. If we are going to eradicate these giants, then everyone must get involved. We must develop a comprehensive plan to address social and spiritual apathy; the hopelessness of people who have been neglected; poverty; care for those who suffer from diseases; and address illiteracy and lack of education. |
